Everything about Fine line on the forearm

Why does size depend on the style?

Fine lines and lots of detail need room. Skin isn’t paper: ink spreads a little over the years, and lines that sit too close run together. A fine-line design can stay small if it has few lines. A realistic portrait, on the other hand, needs an area where shading and transitions have space.

What do “possible” and “difficult” mean?

The rating combines two things: how fine the style works and how well the spot holds fine lines over the years. “Possible” means it works, but plan bigger or simpler. “Difficult” means the spot moves a lot, sees a lot of friction or is too small for the style. Talk it through with your artist – they can see your skin.

How accurate is the scale line?

The line is drawn in on-screen centimetres. Many phones show this close to real size, but not all of them. Hold your phone against the spot to get a feel for the width, and use a ruler or tape measure for the exact size.
